Multi-faceted producer Richard Earnshaw lands on Soulfuric Deep with a remix of a Deepstar classic, ‘Sugar’ featuring American dance vocalist Donna Allen. Released in 2002, the original is a soulful, groove-laden production from the mind of Marc Pomeroy, receiving a Jazz-N-Groove edit on release from Pomeroy, alongside long-time collaborator Brian Tappert, and remaining in the record collections of house heads in the know for over two decades. Now the classically trained musician and soulful house maestro Richard Earnshaw adds his audio expertise to the record, taking Donna Allen’s luxurious vocals and the jacking feel of the OG and updating it for modern dancefloors.
