A long-time friend of Defected, the prolific house legend Sandy Rivera collaborates with certified house legend Mike Dunn. New York meets Chicago as Rivera is joined by his fellow Defected House Master, and together the two deliver some American house music excellence. ‘I Won’t Let Go’ features vocals from London’s April Morgan, a frequent collaborator of Rivera who previously worked with him on 2013’s ‘Fall For You’, now a modern record box staple. They are joined by Mike Dunn, whose signature vocal style has featured on some of house music’s most memorable tracks over the past three decades. As the vocalists perform over the effortlessly melodic composition, Dunn’s classic production skills combine with Rivera’s hypnotic touches, with subtleties that deserve a close listen.
